Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA) Project on Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) and Sustainable Land Management (SLM) in the Eastern Caribbean

The Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA) project on climate change adaptation (CCA) and sustainable land management (SLM) is intended to support the efforts of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to enhance the resilience of its Member States to the impacts of global climate change. The intervention logic for the project aims to enhance the enabling environment (institutional and legal/regulatory), develop technical and human capacity, and improve public awareness/participation for effective and sustainable land management frameworks and practices at the regional and national levels, in the context of the threats and opportunities of climate change.  As a key activity, the project seeks to identify and implement physical adaption pilots in related sectors for reducing vulnerability to climate-related hazards/risks. The project will be implemented from 2015 to 2017.
