Community Groups

Through the GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP), community groups can access grants up to a maximum of US$50,000 to address environmental challenges that will assist in addressing national, regional and global environmental issues through community-based approaches.

The SGP supports projects of non-governmental and community based organizations under selected focal areas. These areas include: biodiversity, climate change, land degradation, the ozone layer, and persistent organic pollutants.
