Request for Proposals - Development of an National IWRM Policy and Plan roadmap for Antigua and Barbuda
The GEF-funded Integrating Watershed and Coastal Areas (GEF-IWCAM) Project (www.iwcam.org) is providing support to participating project countries to lay the foundations in the preparation of national IWRM Plans and relevant policy support statements.
This foundation work is to result in the formulation of an integrated water resources policy and a planning guideline (or Roadmap) for the Government of Antigua and Barbuda to follow towards development of a National IWRM Plan.
The capacity building network of the Global Water Partnership (CapNet) in collaboration with the UNDP has produced guidelines for the formulation of IWRM Plans, and they are among the principle references that are being used for the work.
To this end we are calling for submission of a proposal to provide consultancy services to address the attached Terms of Reference.
The proposal should include an expression of interest, a statement of capability and a resume(s) that makes reference to the required competency as stated in the Terms of Reference.
Please include a cost estimate (based on the consultant responsibilities and deliverables) along with the proposal.
We ask that your proposal (electronic submission is acceptable) be submitted to us no later than the end of the business day, November 5th 2008. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions or seek further clarification.
Looking forward to your submission.
